The website of the Commission has been taken down by hackers claiming to be based in Tunisia.
The Tunisian flag has been imposed on the homepage of the website.
This incident follows a recent attack on about 10 government websites, including the official Presidency of Ghana website by a Turkey-based hacker.
Bernice Adu told Citi News, CHRAJ has asked “NITA to block the site while we initiate investigations into what really happened.”
“We have our IT department which is responsible, but I cannot tell how long it will take to restore the site,” she added.
The hackers have not given any reason for their action, but some experts say government websites are being targeted because of their poor security features.
