Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) has also increased the price of petrol by close to 10%.
The station manager at the GOIL station at Mpamprom-Kaneshie, Benjamin Mills confirmed to Citi Business news that Petrol was selling at 3 cedis 79 pesewas while it was previously selling at 3 cedis 45 pesewas .
Diesel was selling at 3 cedis 57 pesewas, selling earlier at 3 cedis 35 pesewas.
Some private and commercial drivers who spoke to Citi Business news complained about the regular hike in fuel prices.
