The new charges took effect Monday morning with Ghanaian adults expected to pay GHC63.00 to pick a folder and to see a doctor.
Non-nationals are also expected to pay GHC126.00 for similar services.
But clients who claimed they were not informed about the increase say the charge is too much.
Adom News reporter Maabena Duho Mensah who spoke with some patients at Kortle-Bu Polyclinic expressed worry at the turn of events.
Meanwhile Public Relations Officer of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Mustapha Salifu has apologized to customers adding that the new charges are order from above.
This notwithstanding, he said, the new charges will enable them offer quality services to customers.
