Kweku Botwe however pleaded not guilty in court and was remanded in police custody until his bail term is determined at the next hearing .
Prosecuting, Inspector Ansah said on January 30, 2015 at about 7:15 p.m. a private security guard, Geoffrey Gaddah, who was on duty at the DSTV warehouse at Achimota CP junction, close to the highway spotted Botwe and his accomplices, who are currently at large, removing the metal bars serving as barricade along the highway.
Insp. Ansah said just about the same time, Gaddah saw a police patrol team around the vicinity and alerted them about the activities of Botwe and his accomplices.
The prosecutor said Botwe was arrested with a hammer and the metal railing which he had removed from the original fixed points.
He was handed over to the Achimota Police and charged with the offence after investigation.
